WARNING our podcasts are SPOILER RIDDEN!! This week Mike and Matt discuss the sequel to a film that is dear to both of them Super Troopers 2. Mysterious Mike is back home using his fancy new mic Matt got for him! This is the first podcast where Matt actually didn’t talk about Star Wars but he does compare it to the original Super Troopers way too much. Mike brings up an interesting argument that Matt 100% without a doubt does not agree with. Lastly was Mike able to link the latest Broken Lizard flick to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? This is a tough one. You will have to tune in to find out!
Mike loved Super Troopers 2 and gave it 4 out of 5 Reels! For those of you who are counting at home that is two 4 out of 5’s in two weeks for Mike! Matt really enjoyed the film but had a few issues with the story. He gave it a 2.5 out of 5 Reels. What is wrong with this guy?

Welcome to episode 10! It feels like this is some sort of a milestone and should be celebrated, nah. This week Mike and Matt discuss John Krasinski’s newest film A Quiet Place. Matt continues to cough a bit but tried to edit out as many as he could. Mike is back but not really. He is still on the road for work but took time out of his busy schedule to record an episode, thanks Mike! This is a really good fun movie with an equally awesome episode to go with it. Don’t miss this one folks!
Mike loved A Quiet Place and gave it his highest rating yet, 4 out of 5 Reels. Matt loved it as well but still found multiple flaws in his eyes. He gave it a solid 3.5 out of 5 Reels. Remember our podcasts are SPOILER RIDDEN!!

Episode 9 is a bit of a format change for us. Mike is away working and attending a wedding, so Matt brought in our first guest and host of sister podcast The Mile High Show, Matt Santos. Coincidentally it is also the first in our Legacy series of podcasts. What’s Legacy you say well I will tell you. Legacy is any film not currently in the box office at the time of the that episodes recording. Typically, it will be at least a few years old but not always. What was our pick for the first Legacy cast a nice gem of a classic Pee-wee's Big Adventure!
Did we really talk almost an hour about Pee-Wee, no. When the two Matt’s get together things typically get off topic very quickly. Topics included baseball, photography, drive-in’s, Matt S’s Mom, and Citizen Kane. This was a fun one to record but might not be a fun one to listen to. If you skip it, we would understand.
Matt S. gave Pee-wee's Big Adventure a 3.5 out of 5 Reels and your lone host and Matt gave it a 4 out of 5 Reels because he is super nostalgic. Remember our podcasts are SPOILER RIDDEN!!

We made it! Episode 8! I am not sure what we made but I am sure it is sweet! This week the nerds discuss an ultra nerd film Ready Player One! They both love it especially since they are hardcore pop culture nerds as you can tell based on this podcast, HA! Matt argues that Star Wars was the original summer blockbuster and Mike argues it was Jaws, Mike is clearly wrong! (Guess who writes these?) Matt is not a huge fan of all the torture and beatings or the constant flip flopping. Mike thought it was great especially all the twists and turns, it kept him guessing! Wow this thing is still going? Holy crap! Episode #4: Black Panther is a little different from our regular format. Co-host Seth has been crazy busy at work and became ill on top of it so Matt called in a favor from his buddy of many years Hoppy Mike to fill Seth's massive shoes. They discuss the blockbuster Black Panther and if it is really worth all the hype it is getting in the media and the box office. Matt goes on a rant about Marvel comics and how the movies are not like the comics but they are but they aren't. Mike introduces himself and why he is qualified to be a Reel Film Nerds backup host.
